Student Support Services
We are committed to supporting students in foster care by ensuring their educational stability and success. This includes working to minimize school changes, facilitating immediate enrollment, and collaborating with foster care agencies to provide necessary academic and social-emotional support. Our goal is to create a nurturing environment where these students can focus on their learning without additional barriers.
Our school fosters an inclusive and affirming environment for all students, including those who identify as LGBTQIA+. We provide resources and uphold policies that protect LGBTQIA+ students from discrimination and harassment, ensuring they feel safe, respected, and supported. This includes access to supportive staff, relevant information, and a community that values diversity.
Through the Education for Children and Youth Experiencing Homelessness (ECYEH) program, we provide critical support to students and families experiencing homelessness. This includes ensuring immediate enrollment, facilitating access to transportation, school supplies, and other essential services. Our aim is to remove educational barriers and provide stability for students facing housing insecurity, allowing them to continue their education without interruption.
The Student Transition Center is a vital resource designed to support students through significant changes in their educational journey. Whether transitioning to a new school, returning after an absence, or preparing for post-graduation plans, the center provides guidance, resources, and individualized support to ensure smooth and successful transitions.
